In February 2026, Solana's tokenized real-world asset TVL hit an all-time high of $1.66 billion — a near 400% increase from where it started 2025. The network now hosts 20% of all on-chain RWA holders globally and captures over 95% of tokenized stock trading volume. What was once a handful of yield-bearing tokens has become a full-blown institutional ecosystem spanning treasury bonds, tokenized equities, private credit, reinsurance, and yield-bearing stablecoins.
At SolanaRWA.app, we've just expanded our registry to 17 protocols and 106 verified token mints — up from 14 protocols and 78 tokens. Here's what's new, what it means for your portfolio, and why the Solana RWA landscape looks fundamentally different than it did even three months ago.
The Big Picture: How We Got to $1.6B
Solana RWA TVL has quadrupled since mid-2024, growing from $400M in June 2024 to $1.6B in February 2026. The growth hasn't been uniform across categories — US treasuries dominate at 54.9% of total TVL ($892M), followed by private credit at 19.2% ($312M), public equities at 18.5% ($310M), institutional alternative funds at 10.4% ($168M), and real estate at 0.7% ($10.9M).
The holder base is growing faster than TVL, which signals increasing retail participation alongside institutional flows. Monthly unique holders have grown from 50,000 to 285,000 in the same period — a 5.7x increase. More people are discovering that they can hold treasury bonds, stocks, and property in the same wallet as their SOL.
Tier 1: The Giants (>$500M TVL)
Ondo Finance ($892M TVL, Rank #1) is the undisputed leader. Their flagship products are USDY (US Dollar Yield) — a tokenized portfolio of short-term US treasuries and bank deposits offering ~4.5% APY — and OUSG (Ondo Short-Term US Government Bond Fund) targeting institutional investors. In 2025, Ondo expanded into tokenized equities and ETFs through Ondo Global Markets, adding Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Nike, PayPal, and others with mints ending in the distinctive 'ondo' suffix. Ondo's dominance reflects the massive demand for stable, yield-bearing instruments on-chain.
Superstate ($650M TVL, Rank #2) offers USTB — a tokenized US Treasury bill fund targeting institutional allocators. Superstate is notable for being founded by Robert Leshner (Compound Finance founder), bringing deep DeFi credibility to the traditional finance bridge. Their focus on institutional-grade compliance and custody makes them a preferred choice for larger allocators.
Securitize / BlackRock BUIDL ($612M TVL, Rank #3) represents BlackRock's foray into Solana. BUIDL (BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund) is a tokenized money market fund — when the world's largest asset manager puts product on your chain, it's a signal. Securitize provides the tokenization infrastructure, handling KYC/AML and regulatory compliance for the underlying securities.
Tier 2: The Established Players ($50M–$500M TVL)
Backed Finance / xStocks ($240M TVL, Rank #4) brought tokenized equities to Solana via Token-2022. Their xStocks lineup includes 16 tokens: 12 individual equities (TSLAx, NVDAx, AAPLx, GOOGLx, AMZNx, METAx, MSTRx, COINx, CRCLx, HOODx, BRKBx, MCDx) and 4 ETFs (SPYx, QQQx, GLDx, DFDVx). The standout feature is their dividend reinvestment mechanism — when underlying stocks pay dividends, the on-chain multiplier increases, automatically growing every holder's share count. No claim transactions needed.
Maple Finance ($180M TVL, Rank #5) provides institutional-grade lending pools, connecting traditional credit markets with on-chain capital. Maple's focus is corporate lending — verified borrowers, fixed terms, and institutional underwriting. For RWA holders, Maple represents exposure to private credit yields typically reserved for large institutional lenders.
Etherfuse ($85M TVL, Rank #6) tokenizes Mexican government bonds (CETES) as StableBonds. This is a novel approach — sovereign debt from emerging markets, accessible globally through Solana tokens. For holders in Latin America or investors seeking emerging market fixed-income exposure, Etherfuse fills a unique niche.
VanEck ($75M TVL, Rank #7) needs no introduction — they're one of the largest asset managers globally. Their Solana RWA products bring institutional fund exposure on-chain, leveraging VanEck's existing regulatory infrastructure and fund management expertise.
Tier 3: The Emerging Protocols ($10M–$50M TVL)
WisdomTree ($45M TVL, Rank #8) is another traditional finance heavyweight that has brought tokenized fund products to Solana. Like VanEck, their presence signals institutional validation of the Solana RWA stack.
Remora Markets / rStocks ($38M TVL, Rank #9) offers tokenized equities backed by Step Finance. Their approach is similar to xStocks but with a different protocol and listing strategy, providing additional liquidity and choice for equity investors on Solana.
Parcl ($25M TVL, Rank #10) takes a unique approach to real estate — instead of tokenizing individual properties, Parcl creates price index markets for real estate locations. You can go long or short on housing prices in specific cities. It's more of a derivatives play than a direct ownership model, but it exposes crypto-native users to real estate price movements without the friction of property management.
PreStocks ($18M TVL, Rank #11) enables exposure to pre-IPO companies through tokenized SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) structures. This is a compelling category — access to companies before they go public has traditionally been limited to venture capitalists and accredited investors. PreStocks democratizes this through fractional tokenized shares of SPV-held pre-IPO equity.
Tier 4: The Niche Innovators (<$10M TVL)
Homebase ($8.5M TVL, Rank #12) tokenizes individual rental properties, allowing fractional ownership of residential and commercial real estate. What makes Homebase unique in the RWA landscape is the income component — tokenized properties generate rental income that gets distributed to holders, and the properties qualify for depreciation deductions. This is the most tax-complex RWA category, requiring MACRS (US), diminishing value (AU), reducing balance (UK), or CCA (CA) calculations depending on your jurisdiction.
Elmnts ($5.2M TVL, Rank #13) tokenizes commodities, with their primary product being tokenized gold. Commodity tokens provide portfolio diversification and inflation hedging, with the underlying physical assets held in custody. As commodity tokenization matures, expect this category to grow significantly.
BAXUS ($3.8M TVL, Rank #14) is the most unconventional protocol in the ecosystem — they tokenize rare spirits and collectibles with verified provenance. Each token represents a specific physical bottle stored in BAXUS's custody facility. This is the long tail of RWA tokenization, proving that virtually any asset with provable ownership can be brought on-chain.
What's Missing: The Whitespace
Even across the original 14 protocols, there are clear gaps. Private credit beyond Maple is underserved — protocols like Credix ($312M in private credit) aren't fully integrated into the Solana RWA tracking ecosystem yet. New Etherfuse bond products beyond CETES are launching regularly. And as Ondo Global Markets expands, new equity and ETF mints appear dynamically.
Real estate remains the smallest category by TVL at just $10.9M — tiny compared to the $300 trillion global real estate market. But tokenized real estate has the highest complexity per dollar: rental income, depreciation schedules, partial disposals, jurisdiction-specific tax treatment. It's the category that benefits most from purpose-built tools.
The gap between what exists and what's trackable is the real opportunity. Many holders have RWA tokens across 3-4 protocols — Ondo for yield, xStocks for equities, maybe Homebase for real estate. But no existing tool gives them a unified portfolio view across all of these, with proper income categorization and tax handling per asset type.
The New Protocols: Institutional Capital Arrives
Three major new protocols have gone live on Solana with tokens that RWA holders should know about. Franklin Templeton launched their BENJI token, representing shares in the Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund (FOBXX) — a regulated money market fund managing over $700 million in assets. This makes Franklin Templeton one of the largest traditional asset managers with a live token on Solana, and BENJI effectively functions as a yield-bearing stablecoin backed by U.S. government securities.
Figure and HastraFi brought PRIME to Solana — a yield-bearing token backed by Figure's institutional-grade home equity lending portfolio. With approximately $201 million in TVL and around 8% APY, PRIME represents the second-largest RWA on Solana by value. It's a novel asset class for on-chain portfolios: real estate lending yield without the complexity of property ownership or depreciation schedules.
OnRe launched ONyc (Onchain Yield Coin), backed by regulated reinsurance pools. At roughly $90 million in TVL, ONyc offers exposure to an entirely new asset class — reinsurance — that has historically been available only to institutional investors. The yields come from actual insurance premiums rather than crypto-native mechanisms, making it a genuinely uncorrelated source of on-chain income.
xStocks Expansion: 50 Tokenized Equities and Counting
Backed Finance's xStocks protocol has become the dominant force in tokenized equities on Solana, with 74 tokens tracked on RWA.xyz and over $3 billion in cumulative trading volume. Our registry now covers 50 xStocks with verified mint addresses — up from the original 19 we launched with. The expansion includes major names across every sector: JPMorgan Chase (JPMx), Goldman Sachs (GSx), Eli Lilly (LLYx), Broadcom (AVGOx), Palantir (PLTRx), Home Depot (HDx), and many more.
Each xStock is backed 1:1 by real shares held in custody under Swiss regulatory oversight and issued as Token-2022 SPL tokens. The ScaledUiAmountConfig extension means dividends are automatically reinvested — the multiplier increases when dividends are paid, and our platform detects these multiplier changes to auto-record dividend income events for each asset.
With Kraken and Bybit now offering xStocks trading alongside Raydium and Jupiter, these tokens are reaching both DeFi-native users and traditional exchange users. If you hold any xStocks, our dashboard auto-detects them by wallet scan — and for the 24 xStocks not yet in our explicit registry, our dynamic detection via the 'Xs' mint prefix still catches them with basic metadata.
Maple's syrupUSDC: Yield-Bearing Stablecoins Go Mainstream
Maple Finance added syrupUSDC to Solana — a yield-bearing stablecoin backed by institutional lending pools earning approximately 6.5% APY. Unlike regular USDC that sits idle, syrupUSDC accrues yield from Maple's vetted institutional borrowers. The token has grown to over $1.7 billion in market cap across all chains and is actively traded on Orca, making it one of the most liquid RWA tokens on Solana.
For RWA portfolio tracking, syrupUSDC is interesting because it behaves like a stablecoin but generates yield — meaning holders need to track both the position value and the income generated. Our platform now recognizes syrupUSDC automatically and categorizes income events appropriately.
What's Coming Next: The Unverified Pipeline
Several more institutional protocols have announced Solana deployments but their token mint addresses haven't been publicly verified yet. Apollo and Securitize launched ACRED — a tokenized diversified credit fund — with integration into Kamino and Drift for DeFi-native yield strategies. (Update May 2026: Centrifuge's deJTRSY mint has since been verified and added to our registry — the wrapped Janus Henderson Anemoy Treasury Fund is now tradeable on Raydium, Kamino, and Lulo.)
WisdomTree expanded their full fund suite to Solana in January 2026, including the WisdomTree 500 Digital Fund (SPXUX) and Technology & Innovation 100 Digital Fund (TECHX) alongside the existing WTGXX money market fund. Superstate's Opening Bell platform launched SEC-registered public equity shares (Galaxy Digital, Forward Industries, Exodus) as tokens on Solana — a different category from synthetic exposure like xStocks, as these are actual registered securities.
PreStocks has grown from 6 to 24 tokenized pre-IPO companies, adding xAI, Discord, Kraken, Epic Games, Databricks, Groq, and more. And Ondo Global Markets now offers over 200 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs on Solana — making them the largest RWA issuer by asset count at approximately 65% of all tokenized RWAs on the network. We'll be adding these to our registry as mint addresses are confirmed.
Why This Matters for Your Portfolio
The Solana RWA ecosystem has evolved from a few yield-bearing treasury tokens to a comprehensive market of equities, bonds, private credit, real estate lending, reinsurance, and pre-IPO shares. This diversity creates real portfolio management challenges that generic crypto tools aren't designed to handle.
A holder might own USDY for treasury yield, TSLAx for equity exposure, PRIME for real estate lending yield, and ONyc for reinsurance income — each with different income patterns, tax treatments, and disposal rules. xStocks dividends are reinvested via multiplier changes that need detection. Equity disposals trigger capital gains. Treasury bond income has different tax treatment than rental distributions. And jurisdiction matters — the same portfolio has different tax implications in the US, Australia, UK, and Canada.
This is exactly why we built SolanaRWA.app. With 17 protocols and 106 tokens now in our registry, plus dynamic detection for unknown xStocks, PreStocks, and Ondo tokens, we cover the broadest set of Solana RWAs of any portfolio management tool. Auto-detection, income tracking, five depreciation methods, multi-jurisdiction tax reports — all purpose-built for the asset class that's growing faster than any other in crypto.
The Numbers Tell the Story
Solana RWA TVL hit $1.66 billion in February 2026 — up from approximately $400 million in mid-2024. The network has 285,000 RWA token holders. xStocks alone have crossed $3 billion in cumulative trading volume with 57,000 unique holders. Ondo manages nearly $900 million on Solana. The total value of tokenized real-world assets across all blockchains crossed $12 billion in March 2026, with Solana as the third-largest chain for RWAs behind Ethereum and BNB Chain.
These aren't speculative memecoins — they're tokenized versions of government bonds, blue-chip stocks, and institutional credit facilities. The users holding these assets are high-value investors who need proper portfolio management, income tracking, and tax documentation. As the ecosystem grows from 17 protocols to 25 and beyond, that need only accelerates.
We're tracking every protocol, every token, every income event. Whether you're managing a portfolio of tokenized equities or earning yield from treasury bonds and reinsurance, SolanaRWA.app is the dashboard built for this moment.
